An initial consultation allows the Death Midwife and and you to meet and to start to learn about you and your situation. If desired and appropriate, you can begin to look at some paperwork and determine what other documents you might need. You decide who (if anyone) else will be at the meeting. The Death Midwife will answer whatever questions we can and make any necessary plans for how to move forward. This typically lasts about one-to-two hours.
